[Dark Exploration Records]

The Dark Exploration Records is an unofficial fancafe event that will be held in Singapore on 31st October 2026, Halloween.The fan event is based off the Korean novel "괴담에 떨어져도 출근을 해야 하는구나" (괴담출근) also known as "Ghost Story Gotta Work" (GSGW). The event is unaffiliated with the official work.Dark Exploration Records will be a SFW Halloween themed cafe event.

Dark Exploration Records is a Ghost Story Gotta Work fancafe event with a Halloween theme.
It will be held on 31 October 2026 (Saturday) and the location is to be announced at a later date.


The event will have accompanying merchandise, including onsite freebies and pre-order merch bundles.


In addition to the above, the event will have multimedia interactive activities (ARG). While it is not compulsory to play the game to enjoy the cafe, we highly encourage event-goers to participate to enhance their event experience.

A fancafe is an unoffical fan-organised event held to gather fellow fans to celebrate a person, character, piece of media etc. Such events are generally held in collaboration with cafe venues, featuring photo-taking spots and offering merch freebies upon selected cafe menu purchases.• [When and where will the event be held?]
The event will be held on Halloween, 31st Oct 2026. The location will be announced at a later date.• [I'm not up to date with the novel chapters yet, will the event contain spoilers?]
The event will not be completely spoiler-free. Tentatively, there may be content spoilers up to the end of Part 1 of the novel (chapter 208) in our event.

We will be announcing further event guidelines once we have confirmed our cafe location and artist team.• [How will the items be priced?]
We're planning to offer our merch as bundles rather than individual items. Tentatively, bundle prices may start from around SGD25 for a smaller bundle and go up to SGD40 for a full bundle.However, please note that these prices are not finalised yet, so do check back during our pre-order period for confirmed details!• [Will sales be limited to only Singapore?]
Depending on interest, we may consider opening pre-orders to countries outside Singapore.• [Will you be shipping to [country name]?]
For now, we intend to open pre-orders for both local and Asian regions. Closer to the pre-order period, we might include more regions if there's enough interest in our merch.• [I live in Singapore but can't attend the event. Is it possible to still collect the merch?]
If you live in Singapore, you may either opt for local mailing or collect the merch in-person at the fancafe event.• [Is cosplay allowed? If yes, is there a specific theme?]
Yes, cosplay is allowed! There are no restrictions on the theme for your cosplays, but do note that we discourage any bulky costumes or large props within the cafe premises.
